The Unitised Ethical Plan (UEP) is a unitised fund managed by an external asset manager. It covers a wide range of asset classes, using ethical criteria when selecting individual stocks.
The employer chooses the rates at which they and their employees will contribute to the Plan. The employer’s contribution is usually at least equal to, or more than the employee’s contribution.
The cost of management and administration is passed on to the members via a deduction from their personal fund. Members benefit from competitive costs: expenses are spread across a large membership and there are economies of scale.
