The Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS) today announced the appointment of Janet Hennessey (of Hennessey Solutions) as Scheme Advisor.
Janet will provide independent technical support to the SHPS Committee. Janet will also work on developing strategies to address key issues for the Scheme, building relationships with participating employers and developing a communication programme to promote the Scheme.
Janet is a Fellow of the Pensions Management and Chartered Insurance Institutes.
Commenting on the appointment, Colin Small, Chair of the SHPS Committee said “We have decided, as a Committee, to create this new role as we believe an independent perspective is a valuable tool in today’s market. We were looking for an adviser who would deliver a professional, innovative and attentive service and Janet is an excellent choice.”
