St. John Ambulance employee Janet Whitehouse was presented with a luxury hamper and bouquet of flowers when she became The Pensions Trust's 100,000th member.
Mrs Whitehouse who works as Care Co-ordinator for NVQ at the organisation's North Yorkshire and Teesside County Office in Thirsk, received her gift from Andrew Cooke, Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Pensions Trust.
The ceremony took place at Mrs Whitehouse's office and was attended by members of The Pensions Trust team.
"It was a lovely surprise," said Mrs Whitehouse. "It's nice to know that my pension scheme is in such reliable hands!"
Chief Executive Director for St. John Ambulance North Yorkshire and Teesside County, John Welsh said: "For the last 2 years, Janet has been invaluable in building and maintaining the provision of care by St. John Ambulance within the community. She has successfully raised the profile and is continually raising funds for our caring scheme."
St. John Ambulance North Yorkshire and Teesside County has provided care services for the past 10 years and helps the vulnerable people in society.
