Culture

The Pensions Trust is a truly different organisation with its own unique culture that is reflected in our employees.

Everyone who works for the Trust, whether they work within the Customer Services Team or within our support services, are dedicated to our purpose of providing our members with the highest quality service in the most effective and efficient manner.

As a Trust we exist solely to service the members and employers who chose our pensions schemes. As such we are spending a lot of time developing our services to our members and the organisations we work with, creating a greater understanding not only of what our customers want but also what they need.

In order for us to deliver a high quality service we need engaged, customer focused individuals with the technical skills and industry knowledge to drive our culture forward.

Get Involved!

Not only do we want people to be engaged in their own roles but with the organisation as a whole and employees are encouraged to get involved. We have a number of ongoing working groups looking at for example the company intranet site, we have a group called ‘PRIDE’ that looks at the development of customer service as well as a consultation forum. Alternatively, you can volunteer for a more practical role by becoming a First Aider, Fire Marshall or a Health and Safety representative.

Celebrating Success

At the Trust we feel it is important that we achieve our goals and targets on a team and company level. At any time all our employees are striving to meet our high standards and achieve our project goals and when success happens we like to celebrate and reward our staff. Celebrating success events occur in a variety of formats from enjoying a simple lunch together to a formal evening event.

Supporting Others

We pride ourselves on providing our products and services to organisations in the charity and not-for-profit sectors as such we actively support charities by taking part in fundraising drives. On the last Friday of each month we hold a company wide dress down day where each employee makes a donation to a charity nominated by one of our employees. In addition we support national charity events such as Comic Relief and Children in Need.

Outside work

In addition to spending time together at work, many colleagues enjoy each others company out of the office. We have an active sports and social club open to all employees. The club is wholly run by a committee of employee volunteers who organise monthly events that are subsidised by the Trust. Past events include: Ice skating, theatre trips, weekend in Dublin  and completing a cocktail master class.
