Clare Smith

Clare Smith worked for the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) as Director of Human Resources. She was responsible for pension issues at LCD for 12 years and was involved in the management of pensions for at least 18 years before that.

Clare has been a Pensions Trust Trustee for 11 years and holds the Trustees Certificate in pensions knowledge.

In addition to being a Trustee Board member, Clare has been Vice Chair and an active member of most committees. She also regularly attended the investment committee and investment briefings.

Pension security is one of Clare’s highest priorities as is the equal treatment of women and the need for outstanding customer service.
